Kapa Haka.

I arrived to school in my mums car I ran straight to the hall to put my bag away. I lined up in the line. I waited for a pretty long time finally I got my moka on then I went to play. When the bell rang I ran back to my class. Then I walked in my class line. We sat down and sang wainui e. After when the busses arrived we hoped in with room two. When we arrived we got in our skirt and undies. Then we walked to the stage I was really nervous.

we were the first person going on the stage. we waited for the speaker to finish, then we walked on the stage. Then the leader called something we all listened we walked in a bunch in the middle. we sang Atariki.  We spread out again then we sang A otina. then walked in the front. Then we did both of our Hakas. Then we walked pack at the second Rona e. We did it one more time. Then we did wainui e. After we sang it one more time.

Then we walked in the front of the stage and watched the rest. A few songs later moana came up and sang to mira.  

 On the weekend we played soccer.

Playing central in a soccer match. 

On saturday morning I woke up at 06:35. My twin woke me up. Then I slided with my soccer socks and my shin pad to the door to go outside. I put my soccer socks and shin pads yesterday. I slept in them.

Then I opened the door to go outside I found my soccer boots. I put them on. I ran outside and played bit of soccer in my front yard. 3/4 of an hour my mum woke up and we walked in the car. Brmm mm my mum turned the engine on. We drove all the way to the soccer place I went to the soccer pitch that I was playing on.

They started we scored a goal we were winning. We won 5/2. we walked and did elbow to elbow. It was a fun game.

In the morning I woke up. I put my shin pads,soccer socks,soccer shirt and black shorts on yesterday and slept in it. Then I put my boots on and put my jumper on and ran out side. It was 06:00 A M. I did a little bit of soccer training . 2 hours and 30 minutes later Mum walked out side. It was time to go to soccer. We hoped in the car. Mum turned the motor on Brmm Brmm mm The car started to drive. 

When we arrived I got out of the car and crossed the road. I ran to my soccer team we are facing Manatuke! We got in our positions. I was striker with Jaxon for the first half. Jaxon and some one from Manatuke did paper scissors rock. Jaxon won so we started.

we were winning 7/0 in the first half. on the second half they started. we scored 4 more goals and they scored 1 goal. we won 11/1. Reef got the player of the day. because he scored a proper goal instead of scoring an own goal.

LTP

 Learning through play.

Learning through play is an thing we do every monday and tuesday afternoon. There are 4 class with different activities.Room 1 is constructions. Room 2 is makey makey. Room 3 is junky monkey. Room 4 is cardboard nation. It was fun. The first week of learning through play I went to makey makey.

 I was with Jaxon and Arthur. We first did the drumm. It was hard but then we solved it. It was tricky then we did the piano. Then we did the mario game we did the same the as we did with the drum and piano. The second week I went to cardboard nation. I made a cardboard weapon it was dangerous. Then I made a Bazuca. But it can't shoot.

Also I made a sword Out of three type of pieces. Two zip ties One piece of paper and one long block. The third week I walked to cardboard nation again. I builded nuthing but I tried to make a spinner But I ran out of time. The fourth week I did Junky monkey but It was boring. But I made a declaration. I wonder where I'm going to next time...  

  

INTERSCHOOL SOCCER!

Interschool soccer.

On wednesday In the morning I went in the hall to get ready then I hoped In cris car and drove to the soccer place where I normally play soccer. In the first round we faist whatatutu but they weren't there so we won. The next game was against central we won 4/0. Then we faist waikirikiri and we won 7/0. We had a break.

We maid it in the semi final. we were against manatuki we won only just by 1/0. we had a drink. We maid it in the final. We are going to play against the hardest team in primary school in gisborne it is ... Mangapapa!

We did a good job athur did a amazing trick. But we lost 2/0. We will give revenge.

week 1

this first week at school we did buzz groups. one group popped there balloon. we had to stack up the cups it was tricky. the funniest part was putting the balloons between our legs and walk to the the other side of the hall and back. I did it  lot of before I made it.

we did teteinchins in our buzz groups. Everybody in MLH got a
paper it had a word on it. we had to find the animal by finding the people.
my buzz group buddies are Tillie Ethen Josephine Cael.
the house captains this year  Angus Kale'a. Mako charlotte m Robbie Tillie Rasmus Te Atawhai.


we did chocolate vs cheese.It is when you write about a pitcher for 12 minutes. when your finished you have to count how many words you have.we did some art. we had to copy this little pitcher to make a piece.

                                               

                                                             

W1 T3 After the holidays

Back at school

I came back to school on Tuesday after the holidays. It was W1T3. In the morning I was so excited that I woke up early I got my bag ready and tried to go to sleep on my bed. A few minutes later dad woke up and made us Nato for breakfast. Next minute dad went surfing.

Mum woke up at seven forty five. Then she helped us cross the big crossing. We started biking down the path way. It took a long time to go to school by bike. Finally we arrived to the opposite side of the school. It was time to play. A few minutes later the bell rang.

I ran in the class and sat on the mat. The teacher told some people to come for there work shops. I started doing my priorities. The priorities are Ninja maths,word work,quick write and bog post.

Holiday in Rotorua

Rotorua.

On the holidays we went to Rotorua with Jaxon and Monte. We stayed at some ones house. Jaxon and Monte stayed at the motel. The motel was called Holiday Inn. We arrived at the night. In the morning we watched a movie then we went to the luge.

First we had to pay then we had to get a selfie then we waited for the skyline to arrive then we hoped in it. We waited for a little bit then the door closed we went a bit faster.

We tried to see Jaxon and Monte from outside but they saw us. They were at the cafe then we waited in the line. Finally we were at the front of the line then we hopped in the little cart then we started driving down. A few minutes later I was at the bottom of the track.

Matariki

Matariki activity

On monday we started this Matariki work where you have to go around the class and find some cards to full up the gapes. Then you have to figure out how to put the qizz together and glue it on your border. I did it with Jaxon and Hunter. 

It took time. On the japanese car there is a subaru logo. You would see on the subaru logo the Matariki star clusters. There was some hard ones and some easy ones. There are some that you just had to read the card and just write the missing words on your piece.

There were some that you had to do your wish. There were you had to do a fact about Matariki. There were some that you had to draw a kite that you would fly at Matariki.

Just Dance

Just Dance.

We do just dance at discovery and after morning tea. Just dance makes my legs and arms so tired. just dance makes me so tired I can hardly stand up. My favorite one is the waka waka/ It's time for africa.   

I like just dance. Just dance Is a dance that you have to copy the tricks of the person on your screen. There is only 1 to 4 people on the screen. I think we do just to use more energy.

When we do just dance after morning tea we do steps. we do steps after just dance. some people do there work shops.

Working with bubbles

On wednesday we learned about bubbles. We did some art about bubbles. It was super fun. we are going to do a competition it is who can blow the biggest bubble. I wonder who blowed the biggest bubble.

After morning tea I did the biggest bubble in my buzz group It went over the back fence Oliver's buzz group blowed the biggest bubble and I slid under  it and it stung my eyes. We didn't have a good wand.  I had fun popping little bubbles with Jaxon and Harry. Jaxon Used a scrubber to pop the little bubbles high in the sky. 

 We had a good time. We walked back to room 3 and tidied up and got ready to go home.
